These are exciting times for Fairfax County. 

With a newly elected Democratic Governor and a newly Democratic legislature, along with new members of our congressional delegation and local board, there is a tremendous opportunity to lay out our vision for the future of the county. 

As your Chairman, I remain committed to continuing to provide excellent constituent services and to be accountable to you, our residents and taxpayers. Fairfax County, along with our larger region, is experiencing a period of economic transition. COVID and DOGE cuts have shown that we cannot take for granted the economic bubble that federal dollars and a strong commercial real estate market once provided. From economic projects across the county, to making affordability for families a top priority, we face challenges that require us to think creatively and collaboratively.
