For the past 11 years, I’ve been proud to serve Lee District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. We’ve had tremendous successes, fought for progress, and moved Fairfax County forward.
Today, following Chairman Sharon Bulova’s announcement that she will not seek reelection next year, I am proud to share that I will be running for Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.
I’m a lifelong Fairfax County resident who, like you, is proud to call this community home. My wife, Crystal, and I are raising our family here and I want to ensure the future holds even more opportunities for my kids – and yours – than it did for me.
This campaign is about the future of our community. In this time of hateful rhetoric and divisiveness, we need to fight for all families and communities across Fairfax County and create a Fairfax that works for all – One Fairfax.
Doing so means we need a strong, experienced Chairman who will continue to make Fairfax County a national leader in public education, inclusiveness, job growth, and quality of life. It also means we need to protect our environment and make housing affordable for all.
Fairfax County has a tradition of progress and recognizes that diversity is its strength. Both Gerry Connolly and Sharon Bulova were accomplished Chairmen who fought hard for our community. I’ll advance the work they started – fighting for our shared values and strong services. I’m proud to share that both Rep. Connolly and Chairman Bulova have endorsed my campaign.
Watch this space in the next few weeks so I can share with you how we can together move Fairfax County forward.
